Privacy Policy

Effective 27 September 2026 · Version 2026-09-27

1. Who we are

Scene Click is operated by Minmud Pty Ltd, Australia (we, us or our). For personal information that we decide how and why to process, Minmud Pty Ltd is the data controller or equivalent responsible entity.

You can contact us about privacy at hello@sceneclick.com.

Where a business customer uploads or otherwise provides personal data to Scene Click and we process that data solely on the customer's documented instructions, that business customer may be the controller and we may act as its processor. In those circumstances, requests about that data may need to be directed to the relevant business customer.

2. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information in connection with the Scene Click website, private Beta, applications, accounts, workspaces, generation tools and related services (the Service).

We aim to handle personal information transparently and in accordance with applicable Australian privacy law and, where it applies to our activities, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.

3. Personal information we collect

Depending on how you use Scene Click, we may collect your name, email address, company or organisation, account and authentication details, role and workspace information, communications with us, Beta application information, and billing or transaction information if paid features are introduced.

When you use the Service, we may also collect technical and usage information such as IP address, browser and device information, timestamps, security events, feature usage, generation records, model or processing metadata, diagnostics and error logs.

Images, product photographs, prompts, text and other files you upload may contain personal data about you or other people. You are responsible for ensuring you have an appropriate legal basis or other authority to provide that material to us.

Scene Click is not designed for routine processing of special-category or other sensitive personal data. Please do not upload such information unless it is necessary, lawful and appropriate for your use of the Service.

4. How we obtain personal information

We usually obtain personal information directly from you when you join the Beta waitlist, create or use an account, upload content, contact us, request support, join a company workspace or otherwise use the Service.

We may also receive information from an organisation that invites you to Scene Click, from authentication, payment or communications providers, or automatically through logs, cookies, security tools and similar technologies.

If we receive your personal data from another source and applicable law requires us to provide you with additional privacy information, we will do so within the time required by that law unless an exception applies.

5. Why we use personal information and our lawful bases

We process account, authentication, workspace, generation and support information where necessary to provide the Service you request, administer your account, perform our contract with you or take steps at your request before entering into a contract.

We process security, fraud-prevention, service-integrity, diagnostics and limited product-analytics information where necessary for our legitimate interests in operating a secure, reliable and effective service, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights and freedoms.

We process information where necessary to comply with legal obligations, including tax, accounting, regulatory, law-enforcement and dispute-resolution obligations.

Where we rely on consent, for example for certain optional marketing or non-essential cookies where required, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before consent was withdrawn.

We may use aggregated or properly de-identified information for analytics, product development and service improvement where it no longer identifies an individual.

We do not sell personal information.

6. Whether you must provide information

Some information is required for us to provide particular parts of the Service. For example, an email address is required to manage Beta access and an account requires information needed for authentication.

Where information is optional, you may choose not to provide it. If you do not provide information that is necessary for a requested feature, we may be unable to provide that feature or service.

7. Uploaded content and AI processing

To provide image generation, analysis, segmentation, depth estimation and related features, Scene Click may transmit uploaded images, prompts and associated processing information to third-party AI and infrastructure providers acting as service providers or subprocessors.

We do not intentionally use customer content to train our own general-purpose AI models. Third-party AI providers process content under the configurations, contractual arrangements and service terms applicable to the provider and feature being used. We seek to use business or API services with appropriate protections for customer content where available.

AI processing can involve automated analysis of images and prompts. Scene Click does not currently make decisions based solely on automated processing that produce legal effects, or similarly significant effects, on individuals.

8. Who we disclose personal information to

We may disclose personal information to service providers and subprocessors that help us operate Scene Click, including cloud hosting, database and authentication, storage, email delivery, security and anti-abuse, analytics, payment, customer support and AI processing providers.

We may also disclose information to professional advisers, regulators, courts, law-enforcement bodies or other parties where required or authorised by law, or where reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims or protect users, systems or the public.

If you use Scene Click through a company or shared workspace, information associated with that workspace may be visible to authorised administrators or members of that organisation according to their permissions.

9. International transfers

Scene Click is operated from Australia and some of our service providers operate in other countries. Personal data and uploaded content may therefore be processed outside your country, including in Australia, Singapore and the United States, and in other locations where our providers operate.

Where the GDPR applies and personal data is transferred from the European Economic Area to a country that is not covered by an applicable adequacy decision, we will use a lawful transfer mechanism where required, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or another transfer mechanism permitted by applicable law, together with supplementary measures where appropriate.

You may contact us at hello@sceneclick.com to request information about the transfer mechanism or safeguards applicable to your personal data.

10. Cookies and similar technologies

Scene Click may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for authentication, session management, security, preferences and operation of the Service.

We also use security and anti-abuse services, including automated challenge technology, to distinguish legitimate users from bots and protect our systems. These services may process device, browser, network and interaction information for security purposes.

Where applicable law requires consent before using non-essential analytics, advertising or similar technologies, we will request that consent before using them and provide a way to change your choice.

11. Data retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, to provide the Service, maintain appropriate business and security records, resolve disputes and meet legal obligations.

Retention periods vary by category. Beta and account information may be retained while your application or account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards; generation and workspace information may be retained for as long as needed to provide account history and collaboration features; security and audit logs are retained for a period appropriate to security and incident investigation; financial records may be retained for the period required by tax and accounting law.

Where we cannot specify a fixed period in advance, we decide retention by considering the amount, nature and sensitivity of the data, the purposes for which it is processed, whether those purposes can be achieved by other means, legal requirements and the risks of continued retention.

When personal information is no longer required and we are not legally required to retain it, we take reasonable steps to delete it or de-identify it.

12. Security

We use technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information against misuse, interference, loss and unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. These include access controls, authentication, database security controls, encrypted network connections, environment-secret management, logging and anti-abuse protections.

No online service can guarantee absolute security. You should protect your account credentials and contact us promptly if you believe your account or information has been compromised.

13. Your privacy rights

Depending on the law that applies to you and the circumstances of the processing, you may have rights to request access to your personal data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion, restriction of processing, and portability of data you provided to us.

Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Where we rely on legitimate interests, you may have the right to object to the processing. You may also object at any time to processing of your personal data for direct marketing.

These rights are not absolute and may be subject to legal exceptions. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.

To exercise a privacy right, contact hello@sceneclick.com.

14. Right to object

If the GDPR applies and we process your personal data on the basis of legitimate interests, you have the right to object on grounds relating to your particular situation. We will stop the relevant processing unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is needed for legal claims.

If we process your personal data for direct marketing, you may object at any time and we will stop using that data for direct marketing.

15. Marketing and service communications

We may send transactional or service messages needed to operate your account, such as invitations, authentication messages, security notices and important product or policy updates.

If we send marketing communications, you can opt out using the unsubscribe method provided in the message or by contacting us. Opting out of marketing does not prevent us from sending necessary service communications.

16. Children

Scene Click is intended for business and professional use and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly invite children to create accounts or provide personal data directly to us through the Service.

If you believe a child has provided personal data to us without appropriate authorisation, contact us so we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

17. Complaints and supervisory authorities

If you have a privacy question, request or complaint, contact us at hello@sceneclick.com. We will review complaints and respond within a reasonable period and within any period required by applicable law.

If Australian privacy law applies, you may be able to complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

If the GDPR applies, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent data protection supervisory authority, including an authority in the EEA country where you live, work or where you believe an infringement occurred.

18. EU representative and data protection officer

Minmud Pty Ltd is established in Australia. If Article 27 of the GDPR requires us to appoint a representative in the European Union, we will appoint one and publish the representative's identity and contact details in this Privacy Policy.

We have not appointed a data protection officer unless and until applicable law requires us to do so. Privacy enquiries can be directed to hello@sceneclick.com.

19. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Scene Click, our providers or applicable law change. The effective date on this page identifies the current version. If a change materially affects how we handle personal information, we will take reasonable steps to bring it to the attention of affected users before the new use begins where required.
